I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful people of Galway City East for your trust and support - I am deeply honored and grateful. Your trust, support, and belief in me have given me the incredible honor of serving as your Councillor. This is not just a title—it’s a commitment to each and every one of you, and I promise to work tirelessly to be your voice and champion our shared vision for a stronger, more inclusive community.

I also want to extend my profound gratitude to the Labour Party who entrusted me to stand as their candidate, and to my amazing team. Your dedication, hard work, and unwavering support have been the foundation of this journey. I couldn’t have done it without you, and I am forever grateful for the faith you’ve placed in me.

A truly special moment for me this past summer was receiving a special recognition from President Michael D. Higgins during a gathering at Áras an Uachtaráin that reminded me why I do this work. Sitting at the table with my daughter, I was filled with pride and gratitude—because this journey is about more than just politics; it’s about people, about service, and about leaving a legacy of kindness, inclusivity, and justice.

Giving back has always been at the heart of who I am. Whether through volunteering, fundraising, or simply lending a helping hand, I have always believed that real change happens when we come together. These experiences have shaped me, and they will continue to guide me as I step into this role.

I promise to lead with integrity, passion, and dedication. I will always listen, always stand up for what’s right, and always work to ensure that every voice is heard and valued.
